Caring

This service scored 75 (out of 100) for this area. Find out what we look at when we assess this area and How we calculate these scores.
Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
Patients, staff and members of the PPG consistently described the practice as caring, compassionate and respectful. The results of the 2026 National GP Patient Survey were above local and national averages in several key areas. For example, 96% of respondents to the survey had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, compared to a national average of 93%. This was mirrored in patient feedback, highlighting continuity of care, personalised treatment and positive health outcomes, with patients reporting they felt valued, supported and involved in decisions about their care. Staff were positive about their experience and told us that leaders listened to feedback and used it for service improvements and patient engagement initiatives.
