Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service was exceptional at treating people with kindness, empathy and compassion. They respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect. Staff demonstrated a clear understanding of how they promoted privacy and dignity in their work.
Feedback we received was positive regarding how people were treated. People spoke very highly of both clinical and non-clinical staff and consistently told us of how well staff cared for them and was responsive to their needs. This was reflective of the exceptional feedback the practice had received. This included thank you cards, compliments, feedback from their community, which was displayed in the waiting room, the Friends and Family Test (FFT) results and the 2026 National GP Patient Survey, where indicators were above national averages. This showed people felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness.
During our site visit we observed positive interactions between staff and people using the service. Staff demonstrated a strong knowledge of their patients and had developed positive, trusting working relationships with them. Staff shared examples of how they had supported a vulnerable patient with accessing safe care and treatment. This included the patient being treated by the same clinician where possible for continuity of care.
Staff shared examples of how they felt valued in their work. A staff wellbeing survey had recently been undertaken, which was overwhelmingly positive with 100% of respondents stating they felt very well supported in their work.
