We looked for evidence the service involved people and treated them with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. At our last assessment, we rated this key question as good. At this assessment, the rating remains the same.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity.
In the previous 12 months, 96.9% of respondents to the Friends and Family Test said that their overall experience of the service was Good or Very Good.
Data from the National GP Patient Survey 2025 to 2026 showed that 86% of respondents were positive about their overall experience of their GP practice. This was above the national average of 77%.
The service had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. For example, staff took people to a designated room if they were upset or required privacy.
Data from the National GP Patient Survey 2025 to 2026 showed that 91% of respondents stated that during their last appointment, the healthcare professional was very good or fairly good at treating them with care and concern. This was above the national average of 86%.
During this assessment, we received 53 pieces of feedback from our Give Feedback on Care facility, of which 45 were positive. Feedback was consistent in its praise for clinical care across the service and the reception team were mentioned for their approach to their roles which people found personable and kind. However, mixed comments were focused on access for appointments and length of time people were waiting for their appointment when they arrived at the service.
