Staff regularly reviewed people’s care and worked with other services to achieve this. At our last inspection, we rated this key question as Good. At this inspection, the rating remains the same.

Supporting people to live healthier lives
The practice supported patients to manage their health and wellbeing to maximise their independence, choice and control. The service supported people to live healthier lives and where possible, reduce their future needs for care and support.
Staff focussed on identifying risks to people’s health, including those in the last 12 months of their lives and those with caring responsibilities. Staff supported national and local priorities and initiatives to improve population health, including reviewing the prevalence of frailty within the patient population.
To further support patients and the local community to live healthier lives, we saw the practice was hosting and facilitating a well-being and health promotion day in June 2026. The aim of the day was to provide helpful health information and advice whilst offering ideas to improve people’s health.
Monitoring and improving outcomes
The practice routinely monitored people’s care and treatment to continuously improve it. They ensured outcomes were positive, consistent and met the expectations of people themselves.
The practice met national targets for all the uptake of childhood immunisations. The practice performed better than the England average in relation to several cancer screening programmes, including screening for breast, bowel and cervical cancer.
We saw a programme of clinical audit had been undertaken over the last 12 months, this included a variety of 2 cycle audits. Audit activity was completed following significant events, in alignment to local and national health priorities and in areas the GPs had specialist interests in.
Consent to care and treatment
We did not look at Consent to care and treatment during this assessment. The score for this quality statement is based on the previous rating for Effective.
