This service scored 75 (out of 100) for this area. Find out what we look at when we assess this area and How we calculate these scores.
Kindness, compassion and dignity
The practice treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
The practice performed slightly better than the national average in the results of the 2026 National GP Patient Survey. This showed people felt listened to and treated with kindness. For example, 89% of respondents said the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to a national average of 87%.
This was reflected in feedback from the practice’s own patient surveys, where people described staff as “excellent”, “very friendly”, “professional”, “caring” and “efficient”.
The CQC received 88 Give Feedback on Care responses, of which 78 were positive. Feedback indicated that people felt the practice provided excellent overall care. People consistently described staff as kind, caring, helpful and professional. They told us that staff across all roles were compassionate, listened to them, showed empathy and provided reassurance.
The practice had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. Chaperones were available when required, with posters displayed throughout the practice and staff appropriately trained.
