Safe
We looked for evidence that safety was a priority for everyone, and leaders embedded a culture of openness and collaboration. We reviewed processes for recording patient risk assessments and escalation scores, how patient safety was reviewed and improved, and safe and effective staffing and infection prevention and control.
At our last assessment we rated this key question requires improvement. At this assessment the rating has changed to good. This meant people were safe and protected from avoidable harm.
As this is a single-site service, the summary here is replicated below in the urgent and emergency services report.
