Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

Overall, people using the service provided positive feedback, feeling that staff treated them with kindness and respect. Staff supported both individuals and their carers throughout the transport journey, communicating clearly and effectively. In most cases, staff considered individual needs and provided appropriate support to those requiring additional assistance

Staff told us they took pride in delivering good care and felt they provided a high standard of service. However, both staff and leaders acknowledged that, due to pressures on the service, there were times when people's transport was delayed, which they felt impacted their ability to deliver the level of care they would have liked. Leaders conducted patient surveys each month to monitor the standards of care being provided, with the results shared with commissioners and stakeholders.
