We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 22 April 2026.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

There was step-free access to the practice and a ground floor surgery.

The practice had 1 treatment room. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 5 staff, of which there were 1 dentist, 1 trainee dental nurse, 1 qualified dental nurse, 1 receptionist and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection

4 April 2013

During a routine inspection

We told the provider forty-eight hours before our visit that we were coming. The practice is a specialised dental practice for people who had been referred from their own dentist. During our visit, we spoke with the Practice manager and two staff.

Following our visit we spoke with four people who had recently used the service.

All four people we spoke with were complimentary about the service they had received. One person told us 'My treatment has been excellent' ''. Another person told us "Staff are very supportive and the dentist is lovely, they have always explained every thing to me''.

Treatment options were explained to people and they had time to consider their options. This meant a full discussion took place and people were given the information they needed to be able to make an informed decision about their treatment.

The provider had effective infection control procedures. This meant the risk of infection for people using the service was minimised.

Staff received a range of training so that they had up to date knowledge and skills in order to treat people safely when they attended the practice.

There were systems in place to monitor how the practice was run to ensure people received a quality service. This meant people using the service were asked their views about the service so the provider could use the information to improve.
