Grange Medical Centre is a GP practice which provides primary care services to patients in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The practice has a branch site, Oak Lane Surgery, which operates from within Westbourne Green Community Health Care Centre in Bradford. Both sites were visited as part of this inspection.
The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver the regulated activities; diagnostic and screening procedures, maternity and midwifery services, and treatment of disease, disorder or injury. These are delivered from both sites. The practice is situated within the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board and delivers Primary Medical Services to a patient population of approximately 7,000. The practice is part of the Bradford City 6 Primary Care Network (PCN). Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the lowest decile (1 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others.
We carried out this assessment to follow up on an inspection from November 2022, where the practice was rated good overall and for the key questions safe, caring, responsive and well-led. The practice was rated requires improvement for the key question effective. Following this assessment, the practice is now rated good overall and for all key questions.
