We assessed East Anglia Ultrasound Services on 30 June 2026. This was a focused assessment to review the progress made against the warning notice served on the provider following the inspection in July 2025. The warning notice was issued in relation to breaches found in regulations relating to safe care and treatment, person centred care, safeguarding and governance.
The service had made improvements in the servicing and upkeep of its equipment. Improvements were seen in Infection Protection and Control (IPC), staff training, competencies, supervision, and engagement. Recruitment processes were safer and robust. Staff had access to policies in line with the services provided and up to date protocols to follow. Key performance Indicators were now monitored and audited for improvement. The service monitored risks to mitigate their impact.

The service has made improvements that mitigate the concerns raised in the warning notices and were no longer in breach of regulations.
