Our view of the service

Hey Baby 4D –The Revive Healthy Living Centre is operated by HeyBaby4DLimited. Hey Baby 4D - The Revive Healthy Living Centre provided diagnostic ultrasound scans and blood tests. This included a health or wellbeing check designed to confirm that the pregnancy is developing as expected. The service offers 4D baby scans, early reassurance scans, late reassurance scans, gender scans, and non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). NIPT is a blood test that analyses foetal deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) circulating in the mother’s blood to assess the risk of some conditions such as Down syndrome. All scans are elective, self-pay, and non-diagnostic. Private scans are separate to any NHS antenatal care. 

The service offered scans on a keepsake basis. A keepsake scan is a non-medical, elective ultrasound used by expecting parents to see their baby’s face, movements, and features in 3D or 4D images for bonding and souvenir purposes. Therefore, if sonographers spotted an unexpected finding, patients were referred to NHS services for formal diagnostic procedures. NIPTs are a screening tool and are not considered diagnostic.

Over the last 12 months, the service saw 4280 patients of which 489 were re-scans or re-draws. This included 4,090 scans, 90 combined blood test and scans, and 100 blood tests.

We inspected the assessment service group of diagnostic imaging on 10 July 2026. This assessment was undertaken due to an aged rating. Hey Baby 4D - The Revive Healthy Living Centre was previously rated good and remains rated good overall.
