This assessment looked at diagnostic imaging services, we reviewed this service due to having an aged rating and concerns raised, which we rated as Good. See our previous reports to get a full picture of all other services at InHealth Jarvis Breast Screening Centre. In our assessment of diagnostic imaging services, we found senior managers were not visible and staff did not feel comfortable to raise concerns to senior managers, although there were routes in place to raise concerns. Staff were caring towards service users and each other. People thought staff were caring and kind and liked the site. We looked at people’s records, policies and other documents relating to the service and found the service was providing suitable care for people. We found the service was not supporting staff adequately, however, this was not impacting the service provided to people.

The service was in breach of legal regulation in relation to good governance, particularly shared direction and culture. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
