Equity in experiences and outcomes

Score: 2

Staff and leaders did not always actively listen to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes. The provider had not regularly sought feedback from people or relatives via surveys. We only saw evidence of 1 service user meeting at the service. Only 1 set of recent questions feedback asked of people living at the service was available for us to review. The registered manager was ongoing with analysis, feedback and actions from people’s questions. This did not provide people with an opportunity to regularly have a say and provide feedback on their experiences of living at the service. The service had a regular chiropodist who visited the service and had recently acquired a regular hairdresser to visit the service.

Planning for the future

Score: 3
