During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 18 May 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Plowman and Partners dental practice is in the London borough of Marylebone and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice had 7 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 22 staff, including 4 partner dentists and 4 associate dentists, all of whom had undertaken additional postgraduate training in a variety of dental fields and were recognised as specialists on the General Dental Council register. The dentists were supported by 4 dental nurses, 1 dedicated decontamination nurse, 5 dental hygienists, 3 receptionists and 1 practice administrator. During our inspection, we gathered feedback and spoke to a range of staff, including 2 partner dentists, 1 dental nurses, the decontamination nurse, 2 receptionists and the practice administrator.
