During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced inspection on 29 August 2025.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had some systems to identify and manage risks. However, improvements could be made to ensure the practice actioned recommendations identified within the relevant risk assessments in a timely way.
Infection prevention and control procedures broadly followed published guidance. Improvements could be made to ensure that clinicians supervising and mentoring trainee dental nurses improved their understanding of the relevant guidance.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures broadly reflected current legislation. Improvements could be made to ensure the provider obtained the required recruitment documentation at the point of employment.
There were some systems in place for continuous improvement and effective oversight by leadership.
Staff generally provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice is in Wembley, in the London Borough of Brent, and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available near the practice.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 8 staff, of which there were 4 dentists, 1 dental nurse, 1 trainee dental nurse, 1 receptionist and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including the principal dentist, the receptionist and the compliance consultant.
