During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced inspection on 16 June 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. The practice should improve the recruitment procedure to ensure that appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service checks are completed prior to new staff commencing employment at the practice and ensure all staff have an appropriate induction.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice should improve the sharps procedures to ensure these are in compliance with the Health and Safety (Sharp Instruments in Healthcare) Regulations 2013.
The practice is in Keighley and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice had an onsite car park including dedicated parking for disabled people, and step-free access to the premises.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 11 staff, of which there were 4 dentists, 3 dental nurses, 2 receptionists and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection.
