Responding to people’s immediate needs
The evidence showed a good standard. The service listened to and understood people’s needs, views and wishes. Staff responded to people’s needs in the moment and acted to minimise any discomfort, concern or distress.
During our observation on the inspection, we saw the sonographer was consistently reassuring the person being scanned, offering advice on repositioning their body to get a clearer scanning image of their baby, and throughout the scan, they were checking if the person was comfortable.
Workforce wellbeing and enablement
