We undertook a follow-up off-site inspection on 28 September 2026. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.
We had previously undertaken an announced on-site inspection of Dentexcel – 8 Angel Court on 24 June 2026. We had found the registered provider was not providing well-led care and was in breach of regulation 17, Good governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
During our follow-up inspection, we found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had developed effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control, fire safety and the management of medical emergencies.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation, and the practice was developing systems to ensure that mandatory training was monitored and kept up to date.
Dentexcel – 8 Angel Court is in the City of London and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice through the use of a portable ramp. Public transport links were available near the practice.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms.During the inspection we spoke with the principal dentist, the head dental nurse and the practice manager.
