Updated 5 March 2026
We undertook a follow-up on-site inspection on 15 July 2026. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.
We had previously undertaken an announced on-site inspection of White Hart Lane Clinic Limited on 14 January 2026. We had found the registered provider was not providing well-led care and was in breach of regulation 17 Good Governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
During our follow-up inspection, we found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
White Hart Lane Clinic Limited is in Hockley, Essex and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. There were steps leading into the practice with step free access for wheelchair users at the rear of the practice. Car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, were available near the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 13 staff, of which there was the principal dentist, 2 associate dentists, 3 dental nurses (one of whom worked on reception), 1 trainee dental nurse, 3 dental hygienists, 1 receptionist, an assistant practice manager and a practice manager.
During the inspection we spoke with the practice manager and assistant practice manager.
