People's experience of the service

Updated 8 July 2025

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 10 patients. On the day of our inspection, we received patient feedback from a further 9 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “We have received wonderful service at the office with our children. Always helpful and informative about the process.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Another parent told us, “I took my child to this practice for their appointment and had a very positive experience. The team were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the check-in process was quick and well organised. The clinician was very gentle and patient with my child, taking the time to explain what they were doing in a way that helped my child feel calm and comfortable. As a parent, that made a big difference.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
