Good

Updated 13 August 2026

Date of assessment: 10 and 11 June 2026.

We assessed this service as part of our routine inspection schedule. This was the first inspection of this service since it registered.

The service provides mental health care for adults and children in the community, including therapy and psychiatric treatment. The service offers assessment and treatment from consultant psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists. The service provides treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder and addictions. A wide range of therapies were on offer including Cognitive and Dialectical Behaviour Therapies (DBT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).

At this assessment we assessed 2 assessment service groups; community mental health services for adults of working age and specialist mental health services for children and young people. We carried a comprehensive inspection of both assessment service groups and assessed all quality statements.

We rated the service as Good.

In both assessment service groups we found 1 breach of regulation in relation to Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009, 18 (1) (2) (e), the notification of certain incidents, without delay, to the Care Quality Commission.

We identified several areas of good practice across both assessment service groups.

Clients were very positive about their experience of accessing services and said staff were responsive, supportive and helpful. They said staff treated them with dignity and always behaved appropriately.

Staff we spoke with demonstrated positivity and pride in their work and in being part of the organisation. They were able to deliver person-centred, holistic care within a supportive and safe environment.

We found a small number of areas for improvement.

The service did not routinely record prescribing audits and review processes around complex, off-label, and controlled drug prescribing.

A small number of staff were not using the electronic system in line with the provider’s policy. The provider was aware of this and had a plan in place to address this.
