Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must only Accommodate a maximum of 6 service users at Glenfield.

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under Accommodation for persons who require personal or nursing care at Glenfield.

The Registered Person must not admit any new service user with allergies, diabetes or epilepsy without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission. This includes any respite or emergency admissions of service users, any readmissions of previous service users, or where service users
return to the location following admission to hospital.

The Registered Person must ensure allergy, restrictive diet, diabetes and epilepsy risk assessments and care plans for all current and future service users are reflective of NHS healthcare professional advice. The Registered Person must confirm and provide evidence in writing to Care Quality
Commission that this has been done by 14 November 2022

The Registered Person must carry out audits for medicines. The Registered Person must confirm in writing to Care Quality Commission that this has been done by 11 November 2022 and provide a copy.

All staff responsible for providing personal care to service users must have suitable training and competency checks for managing all current and future service users medicines safely. This must include training to administer Insulin, Buccal Midazolam and Epi-Pen. Training must be delivered by a
person with the necessary skills and qualifications. The Registered Person must confirm in writing to Care Quality Commission that this has been done, by no later than 18 November 2022.

The Registered Person must ensure Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPS) are completed for all current and future service users. The Registered Person must confirm and provide evidence in writing to Care Quality Commission that this has been done by 11 November 2022.

The Registered Person must send the Commission a report on progress with the action plan submitted on 06 November 2022 on the first Monday of each month. The report must detail the improvements made in response to the conditions set out above and the impact those improvements have had on the
quality and safety of the service. The report must detail the level of management and provider oversight of the service.
