It is mainly the same two carers that come and it’s good having that continuity, they have got to know [person] very well and show such a high level of care” and “They have very good timekeeping, and they inform me if they are running late, but that is very rare.”

People said they received good care from knowledgeable staff who treated them as individuals. Comments included, “All staff have been respectful and chatty. We haven’t had to worry about any aspect of safety” and “The carers are very respectful; they know what to do and they do it very well. They are very rarely late, but they inform me if they are going to be.”

People felt able to contact managers and were confident action would be taken, and improvements would be made if they raised any concerns. People knew staff and leaders and felt the service was well managed. Comments included, “It is easy to contact the office about anything. I’m satisfied that the service and the individual carers know my needs and are meeting them” and “Whenever they need to send a new member of staff, they always ring beforehand to ask if we are agreeable. They check afterwards that the care provided was satisfactory.”
