The assessment was prompted by the length of time since the service was registered.
Overall, we found the service to be Outstanding. People experienced highly personalised, compassionate and responsive care delivered by staff who knew them exceptionally well. Strong, visible and values‑led leadership created a positive culture where staff felt supported and empowered, and where people, families and professionals felt confident to raise concerns and contribute to care planning.
As this service supports autistic people and people with a learning disability, we considered how effectively it met the principles of right support, right care, right culture. The provider’s model of care reflected best‑practice guidance by supporting people to live ordinary lives with choice, control and independence in their own homes and local communities. Care delivery was person‑centred and promoted people’s dignity, privacy and human rights, while the culture of the service enabled people to feel confident, included and empowered. Leadership and staff attitudes consistently promoted positive risk‑taking, community inclusion and meaningful outcomes, demonstrating a culture that went beyond care delivery to focus on people’s quality of life.
People were cared for by compassionate and respectful staff who knew them exceptionally well and consistently treated people with dignity and kindness. Relationships were strong and trusting. People, families and professionals described care that supported emotional wellbeing, individuality and a genuine sense of feeling valued.
