Our view of the service
We conducted a comprehensive, short-notice announced visit on 22 May 2026. As part of our methodology, we assessed the service against the five key questions: whether it is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. We refer to women in this report, but we recognise that some transgender men, non-binary people and people with variations in sex characteristics (VSC) or who are intersex may also use services and experience some of the same issues.
Babyvision Limited is operated by Babyvision Limited and provides diagnostic imaging services from a facility comprising of 2 scanning rooms, 2 consultation rooms and a large reception area. The service is registered under the diagnostic imaging core service and undertakes baby keepsake scans, transvaginal scans and non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT).
This assessment was undertaken due to an aged rating. Following the inspection, the overall rating for the service remained unchanged at good.
People's experience of this service
We spoke with 6 people, including their partners, who provided consistently positive feedback about their care and treatment. They described staff as warm and kind and said they received effective care. People reported that staff were easy to contact, responded promptly, and that support was readily available when needed. They also told us they were given sufficient time to ask questions about their scans, and that staff checked their understanding of scan and NIPT.
