During an assessment under our new approach
This service is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. The service is also registered to provide personal care in supported living settings. At the time of our assessment, there were no supported living settings. There were 3 people using the service and receiving support in their own homes.
The assessment took place on 24 and 25 July 2025.
The service was registered on 17 March 2023. This was the first assessment of the service. Following this assessment, the service has been rated good.
The provider had created risk assessments to keep people safe. However, some of the risk assessments required more detail to mitigate the likelihood of harm. There was no negative impact of this on people or staff. Relatives and staff told us the registered manager had regular contact with them, and they had the information they needed to ensure people received good quality care. We discussed where improvements were needed with the management team. They started to make the required improvements and sent us evidence of this.
People received personalised care which met their needs. People were cared for by the same familiar staff. Staff arrived on time and provided good quality care. People and their relatives were asked about their needs and wishes so that care could be planned in a person-centred way.
Staff had the training and support they needed to provide evidence-based care. They communicated well with each other to make sure information was shared.
The provider had effective systems for improving the quality of the service, gathering feedback from stakeholders and learning when things went wrong.
