During an assessment under our new approach

Dates of assessment:13 May 2026 to 3 June 2026. Together we Care Ltd is a domiciliary care agency, providing care and support for people living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment the service was supporting 1 person with personal care, under their Homecare registration. The service was also supporting 2 people under their Supported Living registration. We report on this in a separate report. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We visited the office on 14 May 2026. We carried out this assessment as the service had not been inspected since they had registered with CQC on 5 January 2023.

Safe staffing levels were in place. Recruitment was managed safely and staff received induction, training and regular supervision and support. A programme of spot checks was in place to monitor staff’ performance. Risks to people’s health, safety and wellbeing were assessed and regularly reviewed. There was a consistent staff team who knew people well and fostered caring relationships. Safeguarding and infection prevention and control processes were understood, and people reported feeling safe. The service was not supporting anybody with medication at the time of our assessment.

Partnerships with health professionals and the community supported continuity of care, safe transitions, and engagement in broader community life. People’s health needs were met. Equality and inclusion were promoted, with staff treating people respectfully and supporting access to care in line with individual needs. People were routinely offered choice and control.

Audits and checks were in place to maintain oversight of the service. Governance arrangements had recently been strengthened through more detailed monitoring. New systems required embedding to ensure checks on quality and safety were robustly maintained. The registered manager was accessible and committed to providing a person-centred, high-quality service.

Some improvements were required in relation to the management of medicines, but we found people were receiving their medication as prescribed.
