Date of assessment 7 October 2025 to 24 November 2025

Go Care Ltd provides personal care to people in their own homes. This was the 1st inspection since being registered on 8 December 2022 .

There were 3 people using the service when we carried out the assessment who had personal care needs.

During the assessment we contacted people or their relatives, and care staff to gather their feedback regarding how people’s personal care needs were being met. We found that the care, and support people received was safe, and supplied by well-trained, competent, and professional staff.

The provider recruited staff appropriately, and people were supported to take acceptable risks in a proactive and encouraging, way that enhanced their quality of life. This meant people’s social isolation was reduced. People received support from staff who worked well as a team, and provided joined up, integrated care. This included involving external healthcare professionals. The provider enhanced people’s independence by adopting a holistic approach to care which gave them a better choice regarding how it was delivered. This included the service they received, and control over when they received it. The provider recorded people’s consent to care, and treatment in their care plans, and people were encouraged, and supported to maintain healthy diets. The provider monitored the support provided to enhance and drive improved experiences, and outcomes for people. The service was well led, had good governance, and effective monitoring systems.

People and their relatives told us the management approach was positive, they were contactable, responded to any concerns or queries quickly, and acted upon them. Staff were respectful, friendly, and provided good care, and support. They provided a safe service due to their individual skills and training, and this enabled people to experience positive outcomes.

The support the provider and staff provided, meant people lived safely, and were protected from the risk of abuse and harm. The registered manager, office, and staff team responded well to people’s changing needs, concerns, and provided them and their relatives with support to understand safeguarding.

People knew how to raise concerns if they felt unsafe or unhappy with the support they received. People and their relatives said they were supported in a responsive, prompt, and appropriate way. People were enabled to have choice and control over the way staff provided care, support and when.

People were encouraged and supported by staff to do as much as they could for themselves to maintain and improve their independence. Staff also supported people to maintain social, and family contacts, and pursue interests, and hobbies to reduce social isolation wherever possible. A person told us, “Staff and the manager are excellent. Since they started to support me, I got my life back.”
