We assessed My Hair Transplant on 18 and 19 June 2025. This was our first inspection of this location under the current provider; Deansgate Surgery Limited, which registered this location on 24 August 2023. 

From 1 April 2019 CQC began to continue the regulatory history of a location when a location moves address and/or when changes are made to the ownership of a location. For this reason, the location inherited the ratings from our last inspection under the previous provider in June and July 2023. The inherited overall location ratings are on our website. The inherited overall location rating for My Hair Transplant was requires improvement. 

My Hair Transplant only delivers one service type which we assess: surgery. Following our assessment of surgery on 18 and 19 June 2025, the overall location rating for My Hair Transplant is requires improvement.

My Hair Transplant is a hair transplant clinic in Manchester. The service is operated by Deansgate Surgery Limited.

The service operates across 2 floors and has 9 treatment rooms, a reception, a waiting area, a staff room, an office, and a kitchen.

We conducted an unannounced inspection of surgery on 18 and 19 June 2025 in response to concerns raised about the service.

We rated surgery overall as requires improvement.

We found breaches relating to governance, involving people to manage risks, medicines optimisation and infection prevention and control. We have asked the service to make improvements.

However, we also found areas of good practice relating to the effectiveness and responsivity of the service.
