Our view of the service

My Hair Transplant is a hair transplant clinic in Manchester. The service is operated by Deansgate Surgery Limited.

The service operates across 2 floors and has 9 treatment rooms, a reception, a waiting area, a staff room, an office, and a kitchen.

We conducted an unannounced inspection of surgery on 18 and 19 June 2025 in response to concerns raised about the service.

We rated surgery overall as requires improvement.

We found breaches relating to governance, involving people to manage risks, medicines optimisation and infection prevention and control. We have asked the service to make improvements.

However, we also found areas of good practice relating to the effectiveness and responsivity of the service.

People's experience of this service

People interviewed described the technicians as kind and caring and said the service had good aftercare. They expressed satisfaction with the outcome of their hair transplant procedure. However, a lot of the people we spoke with reported experiencing pain during the injection of local anaesthetic. While those we spoke with generally felt the environment was clean and tidy, our assessment found that certain elements did not meet the expected standards.
