Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must produce and implement an ongoing service improvement and development plan. This must be sent to the Commission on the last day of the first full month following the date on which this condition comes into effect, and an updated version of the plan must be submitted on the last day of each month going forward. The plan must demonstrate how the registered provider is ensuring sustained improvement in the following areas:
a. How the service will ensure service users are treated with dignity and respect, including in response to closed culture indicators or institutionalised care. This must include information on how the service will monitor and evaluate the impact of the measures taken to improve the nature of care provided;
b. How the service will learn from accidents and incidents, and embed lessons learned, including the timely updating of relevant care records, in order to ensure that the risk of reoccurrence of concerns is sufficiently mitigated;
c. How the service will ensure adequate oversight of the service, ensuring clear actions are taken and monitored to ensure systems and processes for governance are effective, and outcomes and deliverables are measurable. This must specifically address the oversight of health and safety and environmental issues within the location.
