The Old Vicarage is a 'care home' that provides care and support to older people living with dementia. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as single package under one contractual agreement. The service accommodates up to 20 people in one adapted building. On the day of the inspection 20 people living at the home. We carried out our on-site assessment on 12 December 2023, off site assessment activity started on 7 December 2023 and ended on 6 January 2024. We looked at 5 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes. At our last inspection the service was rated good. At this assessment the service remains good.
