During an assessment under our new approach
Date of assessment: 28 to 30 April 2026.
Felt Care Ltd is a home care service providing support to older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, mental health and sensory impairments. At the time of the assessment, there were 10 people being supported, all who were receiving the regulated activity of personal care.
This was a comprehensive assessment as this service had not been inspected before.
Staff gave positive feedback on the service and leadership support.
Care plans were person-centred and contained information important to people who used the service.
Mental capacity assessments had not been completed by the provider, however there was evidence of discussion with the relevant people, and how best to support care. Staff demonstrated an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and what this meant.
Systems and processes were in place to carry out audits and implement lessons learnt where needed. Meeting minutes were in place which showed that the lessons learnt and actions taken had been shared with staff to ensure that the changes were implemented.
