Governance, management and sustainability
The provider acted on the best information about risk, performance and outcomes, and shared this securely with others when appropriate. They used these to manage and deliver good quality, sustainable care, treatment and support. Governance systems were in place but these had not been effective in identifying the concerns we found about the content of care plans and medicines. This meant there was a risk of people coming to harm where concerns had not been identified and areas for development risk being missed.
However, there had been no known negative impact to people or to the quality of care provided. People, relatives and professionals gave positive feedback about the service and how it was managed and the level of cleanliness. A relative told us, “There are no improvements. I could give them 100 stars, I really would.” Another relative said, “The registered manager is brilliant and I have no concerns. I would be happy to raise them if I did. The staff listen to me.”
