Our view of the service
The Cleveland Clinic London Hospital is a private hospital in central London providing a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services for mainly self-funding patients and where contracts were in place, those funded by embassies and the NHS.
This assessment looked at quality statements in the Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led domains for the hospital’s surgical service.
The surgical service was divided into four institutes covering a range of specialities. The service accepted referrals against a set criterion from GPs, patients who were self-funding, including international patients, and patients who were funded by embassies and the NHS. The service comprised of eight theatres, 20 recovery bays, 21-day case surgical beds, a post-anaesthesia care unit and two surgical wards.
