Our view of the service
The Cleveland Clinic London Hospital is a private hospital in central London providing a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services for mainly self-funding patients and where contracts were in place, those funded by the NHS.
This assessment looked at quality statements in the Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led domains for the hospital’s medical care service.
The medical service consists of 12 beds on the acute assessment unit (AAU). The service accepted admissions against a set criterion from GPs, patients who were self-funding, including international patients, and patients who were funded by the NHS. AAU is a referral only service providing care for non-life-threatening medical conditions.
