There was a positive culture at the service. Managers and staff worked collaboratively to ensure people received good care. Governance and management systems, and information about risks, performance, and outcomes were used effectively to improve care. Staff were very positive about the senior team and the support they received.

Systems were in place to monitor and review the quality of care and experiences of people. Regular audits were completed and demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and improving care.

Staff told us they felt supported and the service was well managed. We received comments such as, "The managers here are approachable, they are very open to everyone and cares for staff, they always listen to any concern and take action immediately." The registered manager was approachable and transparent throughout the assessment process and had a supportive workforce sharing the same vision to provide a safe and happy home for people. One staff member told us their values for the service were; "To be caring and act with respect and empathy. Be brave and make new possibilities happen for people and be responsible for my own actions".
