Date of Assessment: 11 May 2026 to 26 May 2026. 1 inspector carried out a site visit to the agency’s office on 11 and 12 May 2026. We gave the provider 48 hours’ notice of our visit to ensure they were available to assist with our assessment. This was the first assessment of the service since it was registered with us in February 2022.
MNG Care at Home Services Ltd is a domiciliary agency which provides personal care to people living in their own homes. The service is also known as Visiting Angels North Shropshire. It provides care to older people, younger adults, people with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with sensory impairments. At the time of this assessment 31 people were receiving the regulated activity of personal care.
People were protected and kept safe from harm or abuse. Staff had been recruited safely and there were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience to meet people’s needs. Staff received training and regular appraisals. Medicines were managed safely. People were involved in planning and reviewing their care and support. Leaders and staff worked effectively with other professionals involved in people’s care to promote their wellbeing and outcomes. People were supported to live healthier lives and remain as independent as possible. People were treated with kindness, dignity and compassion. People’s care and support was person-centred, and their needs were regularly reviewed. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and culture based on listening, learning and trust. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities. Staff felt supported to give feedback and were treated equally. Staff felt supported by the leadership team, particularly around wellbeing. Audits and checks in place were effective in identifying shortfalls and driving improvements.
