Responsive
Our overall rating of responsive at The Bere Clinic remains good.
Beds were managed well. A bed was available when a patient needed one. Young people were not moved between wards unless it was in their interest. Young people did not stay in hospital after they were ready to leave. The ward design and layout supported treatment, privacy and dignity. Staff helped young people with activities outside the service. The service met the needs of all young people, including those with a protected characteristic. Staff helped young people with communication, advocacy and cultural and spiritual support. The service took complaints seriously, investigated them and learned from them.
