Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
a. The registered provider must within 7 days of this condition taking effect undertake quality assurance audits at St Anselm's Nursing Home, St Clare Road, Walmer, Deal, CT14 7QB, in respect of the following:
i. an audit of care plans for each service user specific to service users’ health conditions, including but not limited to: risks associated with fluid intake and dehydration, constipation, distressed behaviors, continence, diabetes and skin integrity, capacity assessment and best interest decisions.
ii. an audit of staff training and competency assessments.
iii. an audit of environmental risks and infection control.
iv. an audit of medicines
v. an audit of incidents including ABC charts and trends of incidents.
b. The registered provider must within 14 days of this condition taking effect and on the first working day of every six weeks thereafter send to the Care Quality Commission a report detailing the outcome of the quality assurance audits. The report should detail any remedial or immediate action taken along with any other action that the Registered Provider plans to take as a result of the outcome of these audits. The report should include associated timescales for completing the actions and highlight who will be responsible for ensuring that the required improvements are made.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 26 service users at St Anselm's Nursing Home.
