This inspection was undertaken following an aged rating and concerns we had received about the service. The nursing home provides care for older people, including those living with dementia or complex health needs.
The service provided safe, compassionate care, underpinned by skilled staff and committed leadership.
People were safe and well supported by staff who were safely recruited and well trained. Staff were knowledgeable, competent, and confident in their roles, with a skilled nursing team and visible, approachable leadership. Since the last inspection, the service had strengthened systems in care planning, risk management, medicines administration, infection prevention, and staff training.
Overall, care was delivered effectively and consistently, demonstrating strong practice across the service. The provider had further work planned to enhance decor to make the environment more dementia friendly and increase the frequency of community outings, to better support people’s independence and wellbeing.
