CQC register Sitara Haven to carry out the following legally regulated services here:

Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must carry out monthly checks and audits to assess and monitor the quality and safety of the service to include risk assessments and care plans, equipment and suitability of the premises, medicines administration and management to include staff medicines competency assessments, incidents and accidents, and produce a summary report of findings.
The registered person must carry out a monthly review of their systems and processes in regard to service users’ ability’ to consent to their care or any related best interests decisions and produce a summary report of findings.
The above summary reports must be sent to the Care Quality Commission by 5pm on the second Monday each calendar month. The first of these reports should be sent the second Monday after this condition takes effect. The report must provide a summary of the checks and audits detailed in the above two conditions, any investigations carried out, outcomes and actions taken to address any failings found, who is responsible for any actions identified and timescales to be met.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Sitara Haven.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 3 service users at Sitara Haven.
