Our new assessment framework will apply to providers, local authorities and integrated care systems.
Our ratings and 5 key questions will stay central to our approach. We will continue to use:
- 5 key questions (safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led)
- 4-point ratings scale (outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate).
We will let you know when this new assessment framework will affect you. Meanwhile, we continue our current methods to monitor, assess and rate providers.
