Nursing care

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of the activity at or from all locations.

Treatment of disease, disorder or injury

  • Mr Richard Kirby is responsible for these services.
Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

By 9 July 2019 and on the Tuesday of each week thereafter, the registered person shall send a report of its the caseload figures to the Care Quality Commission. The report must include the following:

a. The average caseload figures per whole time equivalent (WTE) excluding bank staff

b. The average caseload figures per WTE inclusive of bank staff

c. The average caseload figures per WTE broken down by team

d. The number of staff who are currently carrying individual caseloads over 360 WTE

e. The actions to ensure that all health visiting and other staffs caseload sizes are no higher than the trust set target of 360 per WTE by 1 October 2019.

f. The actions that are in process to continue to work towards the caseload target for the following week

g. The actions that are in process to work towards Royal College of Nursing and Institute of Health Visiting guidance of an average caseload size of 250 per WTE.

By 9 July 2019 and on the Tuesday of each week thereafter, the registered person shall send a report of its caseload figures to the Care Quality Commission. The report must include the following:

a. The average complex caseload figures per whole time equivalent (WTE) excluding bank staff

b. The average complex caseload figures per WTE inclusive of bank staff

c. The average complex caseload figures per WTE broken down by team

d. The number of staff who are currently carrying individual caseloads over 30 WTE.

e. The actions to ensure that all health that all health visiting and other staffs complex caseload sizes are no higher than the trusts ‘green RAG rated’ target of 30.

f. The actions that are in process to continue to work towards or maintain the complex caseload target for the following week
