Inpatient

This survey looked at the experiences of 76,668 people who were discharged from an NHS acute hospital in July 2018.

Between August 2018 and January 2019, a questionnaire was sent to 1,250 recent inpatients at each trust.

Responses were received from 437 patients at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Emergency department

We use surveys to find out about the experiences of people who receive care and treatment.

Between October 2016 and March 2017, a questionnaire was sent to 1,250 people who used emergency department services.

Responses were received from 201 people at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Outpatient

We use national surveys to find out about the experience of patients when receiving care and treatment from healthcare organisations. Between June and October 2011, a questionnaire was sent to patients who had recently attended an outpatient appointment for each NHS trust in England.

Responses were received from 415 patients at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
