Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. a) By 4pm 1 April 2026 the registered provider must confirm to the Care Quality Commission that they have instructed a medication specialist (who is trained and competent in the electronic medicines management system in use), to undertake oversight of medicines management and risk assessments at the Location. Details of this specialist’s qualifications, and confirmation that they have been instructed is to be provided to the Care Quality Commission by 4pm 1 April 2026.
1. b) By 4pm 1 April 2026 the registered provider must confirm to the Care Quality Commission in writing that they have consulted with service users and/or their representative (if the service user lacks capacity) to determine the care and treatment provided reflects their specific needs and preferences. Evidence of this consultation in the form of personalised care record for all those accommodated at the Location as of the date this condition take effect are to be provided to the Care Quality Commission by 4pm 1 April 2026, confirming the date each service user was consulted.
1. c) By 4pm 10 April 2026 The registered provider must confirm to the Care Quality Commission that they have instructed a Mental Capacity Act specialist (who is trained and competent in MCA and code of practice) to undertake oversight of Mental Capacity Act 2005 adherence and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard conditions, where a service user lacks mental capacity to make an informed decision or give consent. Details of this specialist’s qualifications, and confirmation that they have been instructed is to be provided to the Care Quality Commission by 4pm 10 April 2026
1. d) The register provider must undertake a monthly audit of all staff training and competency assessments which must include analysis of the effectiveness of the training provided to staff. The audit must include actions to be taken and confirm that a competent person will be responsible for any subsequent action to be completed within a reasonable timescale. This audit is to be provided to the Care Quality Commission by 4pm on the last Friday of each month.
1. e) The registered provider must undertake a monthly audit of service user dependency levels and staffing levels deployed, in line with service user’s identified health and emotional support needs. The audit must include actions to be taken and confirm that a competent person will be responsible for the action to be completed within a reasonable timescale. This audit is to be provided to the Care Quality Commission by 4pm on the last Friday of each month.

a) The registered provider must not admit any services users at the Location until 15 April 2026. Thereafter, the registered provider must not admit more than 1 service user within a 14-day period without having prior consent from the care quality commission.
b) The provider must ensure they can safely and effectively meet service users’ needs and any new service user admissions are not detrimental to the safety and wellbeing of any service user living at the Location.

The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from all locations.
