Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must send to CQC a monthly report relating to effective governance systems at the Location, information to include all audits, action plans to sustain improvements, evidence of action put in place and taken, the improvement actions to be taken, details of who is responsible for these, timescales for completion, details of action taken to ensure the system is audited, monitored and continues to be followed. This is to include:
a. Service users’ care plans, including end of life preferences and risk assessments to ensure information is person centred, up to date and accurate;
b. Evidence of analysis relating to service users’ weight monitoring including action is taken, without delay, when there is a decline in weight for a service user and showing staff are clearly and accurately
recording service user’s food intake including what fortified drinks and food supplements are consumed and the correct quantity;
c. Evidence of analysis relating to Service users’ fluid intake monitoring including action is taken, without delay, when a minimum amount of fluid is consumed by a service user and analysis showing staff are
clearly and accurately recording service user’s fluid intake including the daily minimum amount of fluid a service user should be drinking;
d. Evidence of analysis relating to Service users at high risk of sore skin ensuring action is taken, without delay, when there is a decline in the skin integrity for a service user and showing staff are clearly,
consistently and accurately recording when service users are repositioned and any equipment used to support the skin to heal;
e. Evidence relating to the Provider’s analysis of ongoing plans to sustain and improve the home environment for service users, particularly for those living with dementia.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of the activity, as carried on at or from the location Anson Court Residential Home.
