All Inspections

6 June 2013

During a routine inspection

We saw people were cared for effectively and care was planned and delivered in line with the needs of the individual.

We spoke with nine people who used the service. Everyone said they were happy with their care and treatment, and were complimentary about the support they received from staff. People described the staff as 'helpful'. One person said, 'They will get you whatever you want.' Another person said, 'Staff are first rate.' Another person said, 'I don't want to leave I really like it here.'

There were sufficient qualified and experienced staff on duty to provide care and meet people's needs.

The provider had an effective system to support staff to deliver care to an appropriate standard. Staff were positive about working for the trust and felt supported in their role. Staff comments included 'I have never worked anywhere with such a great team spirit' and 'I feel listened to and supported. I would go to the manager if I had any problems.'

The provider took account of complaints and comments to improve the service.
