During a routine inspection

All the people we spoke with told us they were happy with the care they had received. Everyone praised the staff and the care they gave them.

People were very complimentary about the food. All had water and other drinks readily available at their bedside. People told us they got drinks with breakfast, mid morning, lunch, mid afternoon, tea, and an evening drink. There was a wide choice of drinks available and additional drinks could be requested at any time.

People told us staff had time to support and look after them. Comments included

'These nurses are worth their weight in gold'

'The nurses are just like my extended family'

'The staff here are excellent'
