During a routine inspection

Service users were not able to verbally tell the inspector what they think about the service. But, we saw that staff talk, watch and listen to service users carefully and sensitively so that they can understand and act upon their individual wishes and feelings. Staff could readily describe how each service user communicates and were knowledgeable about people's individual needs and preferences. We observed that staff were pleasant and courteous and delivered care that matched with people's care plans. This included support from staff with medication, nutrition and moving and handling.
